The college of management has been initially incubated in the College of Education and Management since 2008 and formally separated into an independent college at 2010.
It consists of five departments or programs including the Department of Cultural & Creative Management, Department of International Business, Graduate Program of Sustainable Tourism & Recreation Management, Graduate Program of Business Administration and Graduate Program of Higher Education Administration.

As the college springs from an institute well-known in its long-history and prestigious tradition of teacher education, it sets up an educational goal to be a basin for nurturing and educating the best-qualified administrative talents for our industries, particularly the humanity and cultural industry.

The college pinpoints the three key components of its educational contents: the cultivation of humanity virtue, the enhancement of creativity thinking, and the embracement of global perspective.

Each department or graduate program henceforth establishes its core of curriculum according to these three educational motives or contents.
